       On the afternoon of June 25,2019,the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Department and Xihua Universityand theopeningceremony ofthe Emergency School of Xihua University were held in Xihua University. Professor Liu Chunping, vice president ofIDP, was invited to attend the ceremony, accompanied by Mr. Li Kuiming of theSchool ofEmergencyManagement.

Liu Chunping delivered a speech on behalf ofIDP, pointing out that in the current emergency management work, thereis a lack of high-level, comprehensive and compound professional and technical personnel. The joint construction oftheEmergencySchoolby Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Department and Xihua University is an important measure to meet the nationalstrategicdevelopmentand social needs, anditisof great significanceto promote the training of emergency management personnel in China and the development of emergency management in Sichuan Province. It is believed that under the leadership of Sichuan provincial PartyCommittee and government and with strong support of Sichuan Emergency Management Department, theEmergencySchoolof Xihua University will achieve rapid development in personnel training, scientific research and service industry.
